"Lauren and I have been friends since middle school. We lost touch and re-connected when she found out I was trying to get pregnant with my first. It was taking me a little longer than anticipated and she was in my corner for anything I needed.

I got pregnant with my first, and if it wasn’t for Lauren I don’t know what I would have done. I bothered her with questions multiple times a day and she was so eager to answer every one of my silly questions with no hesitation.

I would have been lost if it wasn’t for Lauren. She was there for me through everything, I MEAN EVERYTHING! She has a true gift when it comes to this. She has answered every question, every concern, and has always been in my corner cheering for me.

I now have two little ones and if I didn’t have her through my pregnancies, and postpartum periods I would have been lost.

She helped me so much through my pregnancies and with whatever questions I had. She helped me postpartum with breastfeeding and even dropped off lactation supplies and treats for me to help my milk supply.

“I can’t recommend Lauren more to anyone having a baby, especially first time moms. I’m lucky enough to have a super supportive partner, but he has no medical training or experience with labor a delivery. I myself am an ER nurse and know way too much about what could go wrong, but not much about the labor and delivery process and techniques. Lauren was completely on top of it not only during labor and delivery but also during my pregnancy. We sat down and she helped me create a “birth plan”. Many questions she asked me I hadn’t even thought about and it was so helpful to sit down with my partner and her prior to talk these questions and answers out. I went in with a goal of an all natural birth. I truly believe that without Lauren present at my delivery , advocating for me and reminding me on my birth plan I would not have been successful with my natural birth. She was equivalent to having a second partner and she made me feel comfortable during the entire process. She also was a support to my partner, she helped show him how he can be involved in the delivery process and knew exactly how to guide him. The postpartum process was rough and I had a goal to breastfeed my son. Lauren was extremely helpful with my breastfeeding journey and again I don’t think I would have been successful without her. My son has a tongue tie and struggled to latch, so Lauren encouraged me to see a Lactation Specialist who helped me work with a nipple shield to latch my son. Lauren also gave me wonderful pumping tips and advice which helped bring my milk in, because of this my son was fed, gained weight and is now still successfully breastfeeding 4 months later. She has been a constant support for me throughout my son’s life. I plan to continue to utilize Lauren’s knowledge and skills throughout future pregnancies and labor and delivery experiences. Lauren is able to relate and understand what you are going through because of her own experiences with motherhood and she is so compassionate with her clients- and passionate about her work. If you are considering a doula, just do it! I will never regret having her in my life, and couldn’t imagine motherhood without her knowledge and comfort.”

"Lauren was the perfect combination of knowledgeable, kind and caring. She was always thinking ahead trying to anticipate my needs and the needs of my support people around me. She knew when to step back and when to step in. She handled the hospital staff with grace but wasn’t afraid to alert me of concerns or instances where I was not being heard.
